Home Power Generation:

This is a picture of me changing the armature wiring on my Whisper 1000 Wind generator. I presently have a 48 volt system.

The system includes 8 Trojan T-105 deep cycle batteries and a 2.5KW sine wave inverter from Outback.

This gives me about 225Amp hours of battery to work with. The batteries can provide 11 amps at 48 volts for 20 hours. Or to put it simply, enough power to light about eight 60-watt bulbs for 20 hours.
